What is plastic doing
to us?
THERE ARE SOME THINGS WE PREFER IGNORING.

THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED.

CAN OUR BODIES THRIVE IN A PLASTIC WORLD?

THE ANSWER IS NO.
Let's be honest:
plastic is not made of
"all-organic-natural"
stuff.
Because our plastics "leftovers" are now everywhere, microplastics are in our oceans, soil and air.
We eat and breathe them; they are a threat to our health.

Why is plastic
a threat?
Some substances in plastics mimic
natural hormones in the body and
have been linked to health problems
such as diabetes and obesity.

Brominated flame retardants and
phthalates are examples of plastic chemicals that have adverse effects on our bodies, causing cancer, inducing mutations in an organism,
or disrupting the endocrine system.
